PayID makes it easier to send and receive payments

  • Get paid in as little as 60 seconds. That’s speedy!
  • Create a PayID to help you get paid more quickly – it can be your mobile or email in the ANZ App. That’s a lot easier to share than your BSB and account number. Head to the Profile section of the app to get started.

  • Make Fast Payments to a PayID.
  • Pay friends, family, and even the gardener, in as little as a minute – all you need is their PayID, an eligible accountdisclaimer and the latest version of the ANZ App. Tap Pay to give it a try, then tap on the + to choose a way to pay.

Features to help you better understand your spending

  • See where you’ve spent at a glance
  • Ever looked at your transactions and wondered what they actually meant? We've made them easy to understand so that you can quickly recognise your transactions. See more info about your purchase and get in touch with the business in a few taps if you need to.

  • Zero in on specific transactions
  • Sometimes you just need to triple-check that you actually paid that bill. Tap on the  in your account to find what you’re looking for. You can also search for incoming or outgoing transactions, keywords, categories and more. Handy!

Get your card, get tapping and make the most of it

Activate your card and set your card PIN in a flash

  • You can activate eligible ANZ cards in the app – tap More on the Accounts screen, then Activate Card. Just like that.
  • Once you’ve activated your new eligible card, you can set your card PIN straight away. No need to wait for your card PIN in the mail!

Temporarily block and unblock your card

  • Misplaced your card? No worries. You can temporarily block your card to keep it safe while you look for it. Then unblock your card in the app in a flash when you find it again.
  • If you can’t find your card, let us know immediately and we’ll cancel the card. Give us a call from the app and you'll be put straight through with your identity already confirmed. Phew!

New details? No worries!

  • Did you know you can update your details including your home, work or mobile number, and email address in the ANZ App? It's all in one place – your Profile. 
  • By keeping your details up to date, we can get in touch with you when it matters most. For example, to send you a confirmation code or to let you know if your account is overdrawn.

Take control of your profile

  • Forgot your password? We've all been there. You can securely reset your ANZ App PIN or change your ANZ Internet Banking password in Profile. 
  • Stay secure by deregistering your lost (or old) phone – you guessed it. It's in Profile in the ANZ App.

  • Goals in the ANZ App can help you set a savings goal and stay on track to reach it. That much-needed holiday or your new home won’t feel so far away when you know what you need to save and how you’re progressing.

Create a goal and make it yours

  • Choose what you’re saving for and give it a name. You’re more likely to achieve your goal if you know what you’re working towards.
  • Add a target amount and date so you know how far you have to go. We’ll let you know how much you’ll need to save each week, fortnight or month. Then add an image so that you can keep your eyes on the prize!

View your statements anytime

You can use the ANZ App to view statements from up to seven years ago. You can also send them via email or save them to your device.

Looking for cardless cash?

We've made it easier to get cash out of an ANZ ATM – without your card! Just tap your digital wallet with an eligible ANZ Visa debit or credit card. Cha-ching!

What's New

We’ve got a few new additions this month. Here’s some of what’s new in Version 4.27.0:

  • Business One users can now choose a new category for their transactions.
  • If you tap on an account you might notice that we’ve given it a little makeover.
  • You’ll now see some of your important notices under the Notices tab. Creative name, right? We’ll keep adding to them over time.
