FAQs

For Apple users, the ANZ App is available on devices running iOS 10 or later. It’s also available on Apple Watch.

For Android, the ANZ App is available on Android 5.0 or above.

We recommend updating your device operating system, as well as the ANZ App, regularly. Better yet, turn on automatic updates so you’re always up to date.

We’ve taken two apps and combined them into one, that means in the short term there are a few differences between ANZ App for Android and iOS. We’re working fast to add new features you’ll love in the coming months. 

Yes. If you're already using Grow or ANZ goMoney you can keep doing so for now. Once we've added even more new features you'll love, we will ask all ANZ goMoney customers to switch over to the ANZ App.

If you can’t remember your Customer Registration Number or password, you can recover these details with your ANZ card, PIN and registered mobile number. Visit the Internet Banking registration page on anz.com to get started.

To change your PIN simply tap on Accounts followed by the Profile icon. Next, select Change PIN, follow the prompts and you’re done.  

Grow by ANZ customers:

If you're already using Grow by ANZ you can update to the ANZ App from your device. You’ll be prompted to enter your existing Grow PIN and may receive a confirmation text. We may ask for additional information to ensure your account is protected.

ANZ goMoney customers:

Head to the App Store or Google Play and download or update to the ANZ App. Enter your existing goMoney PIN when prompted. We may ask for additional information to ensure your account is protected.

New to app customers:

For people new to the app, you can download the ANZ App from the App Store or Google Play and register using your Internet Banking logon details (Customer Registration Number and password). 

Soon you'll be able to use PayID to pay and get paid, with a mobile or email address. To find out more visit anz.com/payid.

To make way for this change, Pay to Mobile is unavailable in both Android and iOS versions of the ANZ App. In the meantime, we've introduced a new feature that lets you share your account details - BSB and Account Number - by email or SMS so you can get paid back easily.

You can register up to five devices. You’ll need to use your Internet Banking logon details (Customer Registration Number and password) for every additional advice you register for the ANZ App.

Once that’s done, you’ll have one 4-digit PIN that’ll give you access to the app across all your devices. But remember you can only log-in to one device at a time.

We know data is precious so we’ve tried to keep the app size low. For iOS devices you’ll use ~90MB to download and for Android ~35MB.

Your ANZ App will work overseas as long as you’ve got access to a secure internet connection, an international mobile number or an Australian phone with international roaming.

If you're using international roaming, additional carrier charges may apply.

To deregister a device from your ANZ App tap on Accounts, followed by the Profile icon. Next, select Manage Devices, follow the prompts and you’re done.

No. ANZ App is session based and this means that as soon as you close the app, all of your banking information is no longer available on your device. This may differ if you are using the Balance Before PIN feature.
