Register and log in to online banking

Whether you’re registering for the first time, or you just need a hand to log in, we’ve got you covered. Below you'll find easy-to-follow instructions on how to register and log in to ANZ Internet Banking, or download the ANZ App and start banking.


First time registration

Before you start

  • Check that you have eligible accounts for online banking
  • Have your Customer Registration Number (CRN) and Telecode (your phone banking PIN) ready.
    Don't have phone banking? You can register for phone banking before you get started
  • For Internet Banking registrations, ensure your computer has the recommended software and settings
  • For ANZ App registrations, please download the app on your mobile device.

How to register for the ANZ App

To register for the ANZ App:

  1. Open the ANZ App on your mobile device
  2. Swipe through the carousel and tap Get started then enter your Customer Registration Number (CRN) and tap Continue
  3. Choose to register using your ANZ App PIN, ANZ Internet Banking password, or your Telecode (your Phone Banking PIN). 
  4. Enter your preferred details and you’re done.


How to register for Internet Banking

To start your registration:

  1. Go to the Register for ANZ Internet Banking page 
  2. Enter your Customer Registration Number and your Telecode (your Phone Banking PIN). Select Next to continue
  3. Enter your password and Confirm your password. Select Save password
  4. Enter a valid email address. Select Next to continue
  5. Follow the prompts and complete your registration.

First things first. Download the ANZ App to get started on your mobile device. 


Log in online

How to log in to the ANZ App

To log in to the ANZ App:

  1. Open the app on your mobile device
  2. Enter your ANZ App PIN or confirm using your biometrics.

If you've forgotten your PIN you can tap the Forgot PIN option on your login screen or see other options

Update your biometric settings quickly and easily

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Tap Profile, then tap your name
  3. Scroll down to the Security section and follow the prompts.

How to log in to Internet Banking

To log in:

  1. Go to the Internet Banking log in page
  2. Enter your Customer Registration Number (CRN) and password
  3. Select Log in.

If you've forgotten your CRN or password please select Forgot login details? on your login page. Refer to forgotten your CRN or password for more details.

After three incorrect login attempts your Internet Banking profile will be suspended. This is to keep your banking secure. A good tip is try twice and, if you're unsuccessful, use the Forgot login details? link on the log in page.

Register for phone banking

How to register for phone banking

To register for phone banking:

  1. Have your ANZ Credit Card, ANZ Access Account card or Customer Registration Number handy
  2. Call us on 13 13 14  
  3. Press 1 for self-service, and 2 to register for phone banking
  4. We'll give you a 4-7 digit telecode to access your phone banking, similar to how you use your card PIN.

To ensure continued access to ANZ Internet Banking please update your browser to the latest version.

You can register up to five devices. You’ll need to use your Internet Banking login details (Customer Registration Number and password) for every additional device you register for the ANZ App.

Once that’s done, you’ll have one 4-digit PIN that’ll give you access to the app across all your devices.

For Apple users, the ANZ App is available on devices running iOS 10 or later. 

For Android, the ANZ App is available on Android 5.0 or above.

  • Navigate to the three dots located on the top right of your screen when you have your browser open.
  • The version of your browser will be displayed along with any pending updates waiting to be deployed.


  • Navigate to the Apple menu and select System Preferences
  • Click on Software Update
  • Any updates will be displayed
  • Follow the onscreen instructions to install the latest version

Samsung Internet

  • Navigate to the three lines located at the bottom right of the screen
  • Select settings
  • Select About Samsung Internet and follow the onscreen instructions
