As an ANZ cardholder you can also enjoy no transaction fee when making a cash withdrawal or balance enquiry at any ANZ, NAB, Commonwealth Bank or Westpac ATM across Australia.

Furthermore, there are thousands of merchants that have eftpos machines (including most supermarkets and petrol stations) that also provide cash withdrawals with no withdrawal fee.

Make a deposit without a card 

Deposit without a card means anyone can make deposits into selected ANZ personal and business accounts. A detailed receipt will be provided, including agent ID or reference as well as note denominations. If you deposit three cheques or less you will see the images of the cheques on the back of your receipt.

  1. Select ‘Deposit without a card’
  2. Choose your deposit option:
  • Deposit Slip
  • BSB & Account number
  • Credit Card Number
  • Agent Number
  1. Enter and confirm your details
  2. Insert notes/cheques – always check and remove foreign objects first
  3. Confirm amount
  4. Receipt will be provided

Take care of those loose coins with a Coin Deposit Machine

ANZ Coin Deposit Machines sit adjacent to select Smart ATMs allowing customers to deposit loose Australian denomination coins simply and easily. Up to 500 coins or 4kg may be deposited with no pre-bagging or sorting required.

  1. Start your transaction by Tap & PIN or inserting a card
  2. Select Deposit
  3. Select Coin Deposit
  4. Select your account
  5. Confirm your receipt preference
  1. Follow the prompts on screen
  2. Insert coins into the coin tray - please take care to remove any foreign objects and do not exceed the MAX level
  3. Confirm amount
  4. Receipt will be provided

  1. Start your transaction by Tap & PIN or inserting a card
  2. Enter withdrawal amount
  3. Select Account
  4. A screen will appear with multiple options, select notes on the bottom right corner

  2. Confirm receipt preference
  3. Transaction complete - collect notes and receipt (if applicable)

Helpful Tips

  • Before inserting cash into the machine, be sure to remove all staples, rubber bands, paperclips and other foreign objects. That'll help your deposit to go smoothly and the machine to continue working.
  • You can find your closest ANZ ATM here. Click Filter to include only the locations that work for you – pretty important if you're looking for somewhere that you can deposit coins or access after hours.
  • An empty pickle jar could be all you need to kick-start your savings habit. Save your change in a jar, then once it's full you can deposit it using a Coin Deposit Machine.

You can also use the ANZ Appdisclaimer to find your nearest ATM. Log in to the app, tap Support, then choose Find ANZ. Choose to give permission to the app, so that we can show the ATMs that are nearest to you.

If you've forgotten your eligible card PIN, you can reset it using the ANZ App – no need to call or visit a branch. That's handy. Choose the account, then tap on Manage, then Manage Card. Tap Set/Change Card PIN and then follow the prompts.

If you're not able to use the ANZ App and you're an ANZ Debit or Credit Card customer, call 13 13 14 or visit an ANZ Branch and we'll change it for you.

ANZ Smart ATMs have advanced imaging technology to scan and verify Australian notes and Australian-Issued AUD cheques. All of your cash and cheque deposits are listed on your receipt

You can complete all of the same ATM transactions with Tap & PIN, or by inserting your card: deposits, withdrawals, balance enquiries, PIN changes and transfers between accounts
