For ANZ Online Saver accounts, ANZ Access Advantage accounts, ANZ Progress Saver accounts, ANZ Premium Cash Management Accounts and ANZ Pensioner Advantage accounts we will work out interest on the balance of your account at the end of each day. 

For ANZ term deposits, interest accrues daily, based on the closing balance of the term deposit account on the relevant day. The rate of interest is fixed for the term of your term deposit (subject to any adjustments for early withdrawals).

We will tell you the annual interest rate for the particular term that you have chosen when you establish a term deposit (and, if applicable, after a maturing term deposit is reinvested in a new term deposit). The daily interest rate is the rate fixed for the term of your deposit divided by 365.

  • Log in to ANZ Internet Banking and select the Profile icon from the header.

  • Visit your local ANZ branch

BSB stands for bank, state and branch number. It identifies the bank, branch and state that you opened your account in.

Your account number is the identification number associated with your account. Every account has one. For credit cards your account number is your 16 digit card number shown on the front of your card.

You can find your BSB and account number several ways:

  • On ANZ Internet Banking. You can find your BSB and account number by selecting your account from the ANZ Internet Banking homepage and viewing the 'Details' tab.
  • On the ANZ Branch locator tool. Your BSB number can be found by searching for the branch in which you opened your account. The BSB number will show in the search results alongside the branch location and hours of operation.
  • On your statements. Your BSB and account number will appear on your statement copies. The first 6 digits are your BSB number followed by your 9 digit account number.
  • On ANZ Phone Banking accessed by calling 13 13 14 you can hear your BSB and account numbers. You can access this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any touch tone phone anywhere in Australia for the cost of a local call.

We have several ways to ensure you can access your transaction and account balance information when it suits you, which include Internet Banking, mobile banking and phone banking. For more information on:

Register for ANZ Internet or Phone Banking:

  1. Call 13 33 50 and get a Customer Registration Number (CRN) and Telecode
  2. Follow the prompts to change your auto-generated Telecode to a Telecode number of your choice, between four and seven digits
  3. Register online for ANZ Internet Banking using your CRN and Telecode.

Start banking on the go:

  1. Download the ANZ App on your compatible Android device or iPhone
  2. Enter your Internet Banking login details and your mobile number, and create a 4-digit secure PIN. Then confirm and complete your registration by entering the code sent to you via SMS.

Open your first ANZ Online Saver account and you'll receive an introductory fixed bonus rate of % p.a. for 3 months, on top of the ANZ Online Saver standard variable rate (currently ).  After 3 months, the ANZ Online Saver standard variable rate, applicable at that time, will apply. The introductory fixed bonus rate is only available on the first ANZ Online Saver account opened by customers who have not held an ANZ Online Saver in the last 6 months. In case of joint account holders, the introductory fixed bonus rate offer will only be received if all customers are eligible.

Bonus interest is subject to eligibility. ANZ Progress Saver pays bonus interest (in addition to the current variable base interest) in respect of a particular month if the set minimum deposit (currently $10) and no withdrawals, fees or charges are processed to the account on or before the last business day of that calendar month, and after the last business day of the previous calendar month. Bonus and base rates are variable and subject to change.
