Interest on ANZ Save

0.50% p.a.

On your ANZ Save balance if you have less than $250,000 or 0.05% p.a. on your ANZ Save balance if you have $250,000 or more. So please check out the information below.

ANZ Plus comes with a modern ANZ Plus everyday account and a multi-goal ANZ Save account. You won’t get one without the other.

 

Interest-ing

We want to help you improve your financial wellbeing and achieve your savings goals. To make saving easier, you can earn interest on the money in your ANZ Save account, including your savings goals, without conditions like having a minimum amount, or the need to put money in every month.

ANZ Plus strives to be as upfront as possible with the important details so please check out the following stuff you need to know.

  • Effective Daily Balance on your ANZ Save Account  Less than $250,000
  • Interest Rate 0.50% p.a
  • Effective Daily Balance on your ANZ Save Account $250,000 or more
  • Interest Rate 0.05% p.a
  • You can earn interest based on the effective daily balance of your ANZ Save account but not on the balance in your ANZ Plus account
  • That interest is paid into your ANZ Save Account each month. Our interest rate is tiered, so a different rate may apply depending on the effective daily balance of your ANZ Save Account
  • If you move between these tiers, the interest that applies to your whole ANZ Save effective daily balance will change
  • The applicable rate is applied to the entire effective daily balance of your ANZ Save Account

  • ATMs in Australia No transaction fees at major Australian bank ATMs
  • International ATM withdrawal $5 (or free at any ANZ ATM)
  • Overseas transactions 3% of transaction value.
