ANZ Live Chat is a quick and easy way to get information about ANZ products and services like home loans, unsecured personal loans, credit cards, term deposits and transaction accounts.

An ANZ Live Chat representative can give you general advice. If you need more specific information, we’ll always refer you to someone who can help. 

Chat to a real person in real time

No chatbots here! Get your questions answered by an ANZ representative - they’ll introduce themselves by their first name and job title.

Safe and secure

Rest assured your conversation is secure and encrypted. To be certain your chat's safe, check for a padlock icon in the screen window.

How to use ANZ Live Chat

Look out for a chat box that pops up on your screen when an ANZ representative's free.

Type your query into the text box.

Your ANZ representative will respond in real time. They can answer general questions or direct you to more specfic areas of help.

To log out of chat, just press the 'x' button on the top right of the chat window.

   What if I don't want to chat? 

It's totally up to you whether you'd like to chat or not. If not, you can just ignore the invitation, pressing the exit button on the bottom left of the chat screen. 

 

   What if chat's not available? 

If you'd like to chat online but an ANZ representative isn't available, call 13 14 14, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or visit our Contact us page for more information. 

 

   How do I get a record of my chat? 

We can email you a copy of your chat - all you need to do is click the + button in the bottom left of the chat window. Select 'email', type in your email address and we'll send it to you right after your chat session. You can also print the chat for your records - simply click the print icon on the chat window. 

 

   Will I need to share my confidential details? 

Your ANZ representative may ask for your name and your best contact number. They'll never ask for sensitive information, account numbers or passwords. Please see the ANZ Privacy Policy (PDF 112kB) for more information.
