ANZ is a subscriber to the Code of Banking Practice, a voluntary code of conduct for member banks of the Australian Bankers’ Association.
It sets standards of good banking practice for banks to follow when dealing with individual and small business customers, prospective customers and guarantors.
The four key areas of the Code are:
- Our key commitments and general obligations.
- Information we will give you about banking services.
- Banking services practices.
- Resolution of disputes, monitoring and sanctions.
Compliance under the Code of Banking Practice is monitored by The Code Compliance Monitoring Committee.
