Environmental sustainability

We are supporting households, businesses and financial practices to improve environmental sustainability.

In addition to supporting our customers, we're seeking to reduce the environmental impact of our own operations. We are focused on increasing our use of renewable electricity and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, waste, paper and water usage.

How we're taking action

Environmental Sustainability Strategy

Our Environmental Sustainability Strategy is focused on supporting customers in their transition to net zero, and helping them capitalise on the significant opportunities as a result of this global economic shift. This includes through partnerships, such as the one announced in early 2022, with climate advisory and investment firm Pollination.

Funding Environmental Sustainability

We’ve set a target to fund and facilitate $50 billion by 2025 to support our customers in their efforts to achieve improved environmental outcomes, including the reduction of their greenhouse gas emissions.

Reducing our own footprint

We've developed a suite of targets to reduce the impact of our business activities on the environment.
