Climate risk disclosures
We aim to provide investors and other stakeholders with clear information enabling them to assess the adequacy of our approach to climate change and our ability to manage the associated risks and opportunities.
We report using the recommendations of the Financial Stability Board Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Environmental performance reports
Since 2016, our environmental performance report has been incorporated into our ESG reporting. Our 2020 environmental performance is outlined on pages 46-48 and 87-88 of our 2020 ESG Supplement
In 2020 KPMG was engaged to conduct independent assurance over ANZ’s global GHG emissions and carbon offset data. Assurance was provided in accordance with International Standard on Assurance Engagements ISAE 3000 Assurance Engagements other than Audits or Reviews of Historical Financial Information, ISAE 3410 Assurance Engagements on Greenhouse Gas Statements and National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Audit) Determination 2009.
