Important information about the cancellation of ANZ Access cards

From June 2024, ANZ Access cards are being phased out in stages and customers with ANZ Access cards will have their cards cancelled by us.

ANZ Access card cancellation

From February 2025, we’re contacting ANZ Access cardholders about the cancellation of ANZ Access cards.

Your card will be cancelled by us on the date specified in the letter or email you received from us. Until then, you’re able to use your ANZ Access card as you normally would to make purchases or at ATMs to deposit or withdraw cash.

Your accounts will not be impacted, and you’ll still be able to use your accounts to make transfers, receive payments and pay bills in the ANZ App and Internet Banking.

There will be no changes made to your account as a result of this change.  You can still use your account/s to make transfers, receive payments and pay bills in other ways, such as in the ANZ App and Internet Banking. There will be no changes to your BSB and account numbers, as well as any direct debits and PayTo arrangements set up from your account.

If you report your ANZ Access card as lost or stolen, you will receive a replacement ANZ Access card, your replacement card will be cancelled on a future date, and further notification will be sent to you.
