Credit limits 

Whether you need more funds to buy the things you want, or to deal with unexpected expenses, we understand that your financial needs change over time.

So, we’ve made it easy to request a credit limit change to your card whenever you need.

Request a change to your ANZ credit card limit 


  • Log on to ANZ Internet Banking and select your credit card account
  • Select Apply for a credit card limit increase or Decrease your credit card limit from Account actions

By phone:

Call 13 22 73  (or +61 3 9683 9999  from overseas) during 7am – 11pm (AEST), 7 days a week.


Return a form to us:

Download and complete the Request credit card limit increase/decrease form (PDF 76kB) and return it to us by any of the methods listed on it. 



Switching to another ANZ credit card 

We've made it easy for you to request a change to another ANZ credit card that may suit your needs better.


  • Log on to ANZ Internet Banking and select your credit card account
  • Select Change your credit card type from Account actions 

By phone:

Call 13 22 73  (or +61 3 9683 9999  from overseas)

In person:

Visit any ANZ branch



Updating your personal details 

  • Log on to ANZ Internet Banking and select profile
  • Call us on 13 22 73  (or +61 3 9683 9999  from overseas).
  • Drop into any ANZ branch in Australia



Ordering a replacement card 


  • Log on to ANZ Internet Banking and select your credit card account 
  • Select Order a replacement card from Account actions 

 By phone:

  • Call ANZ on 13 22 73  (international +61 3 9683 9999 ), available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to order a replacement credit card.



Get a new PIN 

  • Get a new PIN. Simply get in touch with us by calling ANZ on 13 13 14  and we’ll send you a new PIN for your card, or visit an ANZ branch and reset your pin on the spot.
  • Change your PIN at any Australian ANZ ATM, any time.



Add an additional cardholder 


  • Log on to ANZ Internet Banking and select your credit card account
  • Choose Add an additional cardholder from Account actions

Pay your credit card 

There are many convenient ways to make payments:

You should find that these options are better ways to bank. But if you prefer, you can also make payment at an ANZ branch



Combine your ANZ credit card accounts 

If you want to combine two or more ANZ credit card accounts, complete the Request to combine ANZ credit card accounts (PDF 316kB) form.



Request reinstatement of your closed credit card account 

If you would like your closed ANZ credit card account to be reinstated, simply call us on 13 22 73  between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday or from 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We may be able to complete your request over the phone.

Alternatively, complete the Credit card application for account reinstatement form (PDF 88kB).



Getting a new card once your card expires 

ANZ credit cards are valid until the last date of the month stated in the expiry date. New cards are usually sent out before the 25th day of that month, so they should reach you before the old ones expire.

However, if you haven’t received your new card by the end of the month of expiry, please call us on 13 22 73  to check on the progress.
