A collaboration between ANZ and the Energy Efficiency Council
The Forgotten Fuel series of reports is the result of a longstanding collaboration between ANZ and the Energy Efficiency Council (EEC).
The three reports explore the ways in which businesses and households can benefit from using energy efficiency as a tool to supercharge emissions reduction, save money, and improve health and wellbeing
The Forgotten Fuel series furthers our Climate and Environment Strategy objective to be a trusted partner for our customers, supporting them to adapt and become more resilient to a changing environment and economy.
The Forgotten Fuel factsheets accompany the Forgotten Fuel series of reports. They offer a simple overview of the upfront costs of products and their installation, the annual energy bill savings realised by installing the products, as well as the associated payback periods for doing so.
Figures are estimates based on calculations undertaken by the Energy Efficiency Council. Sources and other important information are detailed in the accompanying ANZ-EEC Forgotten Fuel factsheets notes and sources.

The first report in the series, Putting energy efficiency to work, demonstrates the opportunity of energy efficiency and electrification across Australia, including analysis of research – and modelled scenarios – into the role of energy efficiency and electrification in decarbonising Australia.
