There's a new feature in the ANZ App on eligible ANZ savings accounts, which allows you to set a savings goal, and can help you stay on track so you can reach your goal.

It can be really hard to save – especially when there is so much on your wishlist. By creating a goal, adding a name and setting a target date it'll feel more real and you'll be more likely to stay focused. You can also add an image to your goal.

You can create a goal by opening the latest version of the ANZ App, then tapping on an eligible ANZ savings account, then tap on Saving for something? to get started.

Easy! Go to the account you've turned into a dedicated savings goal, then tap Edit Goal. You'll be able to change the name, image, date and amount. You can also end the goal here if you'd like.

You can set up one goal for each eligible ANZ savings account you have.

We have two savings accounts which are eligible for setting a goal, these are ANZ Progress Saver and ANZ Online Saver. You can find out more about these here.

At the moment, goals are only available in the ANZ App.

You can create a savings goal if you have an ANZ Progress Saver account or an ANZ Online Saver account. Remember you'll need one eligible account for each goal. You'll also need the latest version of the ANZ App.

You'll only be able to see the goals you set in the ANZ App. Your goals won't be shared with your joint account holder, even if you share the account.

If you're both working towards the same goal you can set a goal up individually in the app, then personalise it however you'd like.

Of course! Business customers can set a goal as long as they have an eligible account and the latest version of the ANZ App. It  might be a great way to save for that new equipment.
