ANZ welcomes Apple Pay to Australia.
If you have an ANZ MasterCard, there’s an extra level of protection when you use it to shop online at participating merchants. Look out for the MasterCard SecureCode logo on the merchant’s website. It’s a free service that lets you use a personal SecureCode when you make a purchase online, to help protect your card against unauthorised use.
How to enrol for MasterCard SecureCode
Just shop online at a participating MasterCard SecureCode merchant. When you’re ready to pay, enter your ANZ MasterCard details in the payment page.
You’ll automatically be prompted to enrol for MasterCard SecureCode, with the following details:
- Name as shown on your ANZ MasterCard
- Signature Panel Code (the last three digits on the back of your card - otherwise known as 'CCV')
- Card expiry date
- Your date of birth
After entering your details and clicking the ‘Enrol now’ button, you’ll be asked to create a personal message and MasterCard SecureCode.
Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be prompted to enter your MasterCard SecureCode whenever you shop online at a MasterCard SecureCode store. Your Personal Message will also be displayed to confirm that you’re dealing with a genuine MasterCard SecureCode merchant.
