Manage future payments/transfers

Using ANZ Internet Banking you can easily manage any payments (including bill payments) and transfers that you've scheduled for a future date.

You can view the details, skip/unskip a payment/transfer or delete a payment/transfer.

Use our frequently asked questions to find out more about future payments/transfers.

The "Manage Future Payments/Transfers" screen provides the following information:

  • Status: this will display "Skip" if you have chosen to skip a payment/transfer or "Deleted" if you have cancelled the payment/transfer. If the payment/transfer has not been deleted or skipped no status will display.
  • Transfer date: the date the payment/transfer is scheduled to be processed.
  • Transfer type: a one off payment/transfer will display as "One off”. A recurring payment/transfer will display the payment/transfer frequency (Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annually or Annually).
  • From account: the account from which the payment/transfer is scheduled to be made.
  • To: the account to which the payment/transfer is scheduled to be made. For Pay Anyone payments, this will show the payee. For bill payments this will show the biller who is scheduled to be paid.
  • Lodgement number: this is issued when you submit the payment/transfer. The lodgement number can be used for any enquiries you may have about this this payment/transfer or bill payment.
  • Amount: the amount that is scheduled to be transferred or paid.

Yes. you can view full details of the future transfers or bill payments.

You cannot cancel or delete immediate payments/transfers or a scheduled payment/transfer to be processed today.

  • You can only edit or delete payments/transfers if they are scheduled for a future date.
  • When editing or deleting a future dated payment/transfer, you must do so prior to 11.59pm(AEST/AEDT) the day before to the scheduled payment/transfer.

If you wish to skip a payment/transfer, the request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) the day before the payment/transfer.

Yes, but only if the payment/transfer is not scheduled to be processed today. Simply click the "Edit" link in the “Actions” column.

  • The request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) before the day of the scheduled payment/transfer.
  • Future-dated payments/transfers require cleared funds in your account by 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) the day before the scheduled payment/transfer.
  • All future-dated payments/transfers will be processed by us on the morning of the date requested unless the payment/transfer date falls on a weekend or public holiday in which case it will be processed the next bank business day.
  • If you wish to delete or skip a payment/transfer, the request must be lodged with ANZ Internet Banking prior to 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) on the day before the payment/transfer.
