The Rental Vehicle Excess in Australia Insurance may cover you when you hire a car in Australia if the entire payment for the rental vehicle is charged to your ANZ Black or Platinum credit card account. In the event that the rental vehicle is damaged or stolen when in your custody, the Rental Vehicle Excess in Australia Insurance will pay your rental excess up to a maximum total limit of $5,000, or the maximum total limit of up to the amount specified in your rental vehicle agreement; whichever is the lesser provided you are a nominated driver on the rental agreement.
