The borrowing power shown using this calculator is an estimate based on the income and expenses entered and the credit score you have provided. The interest rate used for the purposes of these calculations is an estimate only and is based on the credit score you have provided. These calculations are also based on an ANZ Variable Rate Loan with a loan term of seven years with monthly repayments. The borrowing power and interest rate estimates are provided for illustrative purposes only. Actual borrowing capacity and your actual interest rate may vary when you complete an application. Your loan amount and actual interest rate will be confirmed in your letter of offer once the application has been assessed and approved. This calculation does not constitute a quote, loan approval, agreement or advice by ANZ. It does not take into account all of your personal or financial circumstances. To apply for an ANZ Personal Loan you must complete an application. All applications are subject to ANZ’s credit assessment criteria. Terms, conditions, fees and charges apply.

How does debt consolidation with an ANZ Personal Loan work?

Having multiple debts can be a little stressful at times. You might find yourself juggling several repayments coming out of your account at different times.

To help make your debts easier to manage, you could consolidate your existing debts into one easy to manage loan.

You can do this by applying for an ANZ Personal Loan and, if approved, using the funds from this loan to pay off your other existing debts, and then repaying your ANZ Personal Loan back over a set term. And in most cases, ANZ will be able to disperse the loan funds directly to the other lenders on your behalf to pay off your other debts.

The key benefits of consolidating your debts with an ANZ Personal Loan can include:

  • having only one set of regular repayments to make;
  • potentially paying less in fees and charges and being able to get a lower overall interest rate when compared to your existing debts; and
  • having a clearer timeline to the day you can pay off your debt.

Examples of the types of debts that can be consolidated with an ANZ Personal Loan include credit cards, car finance, other personal loans, outstanding tax debt, store cards, and hire purchase instalment plans.
