Suncorp Bank is becoming ANZ

If you're a Suncorp Bank customer, your banking will be moving to ANZ.

We're working hard to make the move as smooth as possible. You'll receive important updates from both Suncorp Bank and ANZ along the way.

We look forward to welcoming you in 2027. In the meantime, you'll continue to bank with Suncorp Bank.

 

What does this mean?

  • This means you'll bank with ANZ.
  • Suncorp Bank and ANZ will be in touch in the coming months with the details of your move.

You'll have access to branches and support.

When Suncorp Bank becomes ANZ, there will be a larger network of banking specialists and branches throughout Australia.

You'll still see familiar faces.

Until your accounts move, Suncorp Bank staff will continue to help you. After the move, you'll bank with ANZ, and Suncorp Bank people will become one team with ANZ.

Your accounts will benefit from ANZ anti-fraud technology.

When your accounts move to ANZ, they will benefit from ANZ's anti-fraud technology which works to recognise, flag and identify suspicious transactions.

Suncorp Bank will share updates in the Suncorp Bank App, Internet Banking and the Suncorp Bank Move Hub at suncorpbank.com.au/movetoanz. You'll also receive updates from us.

Upcoming months

If any of your Suncorp Bank accounts or products require you to take action before the move to ANZ, Suncorp Bank and/or ANZ will contact you in the coming months.

End 2026 / early 2027

ANZ will write to you with details about the move.

From early 2027

Suncorp Bank and ANZ will send reminders and instructions to prepare for the move and set up your banking.

2027

ANZ will move your accounts and money and let you know when your accounts and cards are ready to use.

Protecting yourself from scams during the move to ANZ

If you’re ever unsure about an email or text claiming to be about the move to ANZ, don’t click any links or give any banking details. 

Suncorp Bank and ANZ will never ask you to: 

  • Move money urgently to another account or move it to ‘keep it safe’ 
  • Share sensitive banking details like passwords or PINs 
  • Click a link in an email or SMS about the move to ANZ, including a link to log in to your account 
  • Give or remove access to your computer, phone, or other devices

Suncorp Bank accounts and products are moving to ANZ in 2027.

You'll be kept up to date, in advance of changes, including what to expect and what you might need to do.

For now, nothing changes – continue banking with Suncorp Bank until we’ve been in touch.

You'll be sent communications from Suncorp Bank and ANZ – by letter, email, text message, or through the Suncorp Bank App and Internet Banking.

Have you recently moved or changed your contact details? An outdated postal address, email or mobile number may mean you won’t receive the latest updates.

You can update your details:

In the Suncorp Bank App:

  • Log in and tap 'More' in the menu bar.
  • Select 'Profile', then select the mobile, email or postal address options and follow the prompts to update.

Via Suncorp Bank Internet Banking.

  • Log in and click 'Customer Profile' in the left-hand menu.
  • Select the mobile, email or postal address options and follow the prompts to update.

Otherwise contact Suncorp Bank on 13 11 75 or visit your nearest branch to update your details.

If you believe you haven’t received certain communications, please contact Suncorp Bank on 13 11 75.

Act quickly:

  • Stop all contact with the suspected scammer. 
  • Call Suncorp Bank immediately on 13 11 75. 
  • Shared your banking details or sent money? Let Suncorp Bank know straight away so they can take steps to help protect your account. 
  • After the move, if you think you’re being targeted by a scam, contact ANZ on 13 13 14 or report the scam at anz.com/security.
