View my card statement

You can easily view statements for your credit and debit cards in ANZ Internet Banking and ANZ Internet Banking for Business.

  • Incomplete card statements are a great way to check your transactions before your regular statement becomes available
  • You can also view the last three complete statements issued for your card or Commercial card account
  • You will still receive your regular account statements as outlined in the terms and conditions of your card account.

How do I view my card statement?

If you wish to view your statements, you can either view online statements or view the current incomplete statement and your last three (if applicable) card statements:

  • Go to the home page, which is the first page you see when you log on to ANZ Internet Banking.
  • Select your card/account and follow the steps below.

Step 1 - Ensure the correct card/account is selected

The card/account you've selected from the Home page will automatically be displayed.

If you need to select another card/account, you can return to the Home page and re-select.

Step 2 - View the current incomplete statement

Select the "Statements" tab, the date period "Current incomplete statement period" and select "View".

The transactions displayed will include any transactions processed after your last card statement was issued.

The following information will display:

Personal and Commercial credit cards, Visa Debit cards, Commercial credit card accounts

  • Account: card/account name and number
  • Period Displayed: opening period for the statement
  • Opening Balance: the balance of your card/account on the statement start date. This balance is equal to the closing balance for your last statement
  • For each transaction:
  • Processed: the date the transaction was processed by ANZ
  • Transaction Date: the date the transaction was carried out
  • Transaction Details: a description of the transaction
  • Merchant Description: for some transactions, an arrow may appear which can be selected to view details of the merchant
  • Debit: $ value of purchase, cash advance and other debit
  • Credit: $ value of payment and credit to your card
  • Available Funds: the remaining balance currently available.

In addition to the above, the following information will display for certain card and card account types:

Personal credit card

  • Card Used: the last four digits of the card used, for each transaction
  • Credit Limit: the total credit limit permitted for your credit card
  • Closing Balance: for incomplete statements, this is equal to your card's current balance. It does not include transactions processed today, therefore the balance on this page may differ from the balance which appears on the home page.

Commercial credit card

  • Closing balance: for incomplete statements, this is equal to your card’s current balance. It does not include transactions processed today, however, so the balance on this page may differ from the balance which appears on the home page.
  • Monthly Spend Cap: the limit set on each card that controls how much can be spent between each monthly statement cycle. If this is set to unlimited, the cardholder will be able to access any additional payments made into the billing account (i.e. commercial card account) up to the amount of the additional payments. Only the amount listed as "Available Funds" can be spent.

Visa Debit card

  • Card Used: the last four digits of the card used, for each transaction
  • Closing Balance: for incomplete statements, this is equal to your card’s current balance. It does not include transactions processed today, so the balance on this page may differ from the balance which appears on the home page.

Commercial credit card account

  • Card Used: the last four digits of the card used, for each transaction
  • Facility Limit: the total amount of credit permitted for the selected credit card account. This limit applies to the account, whereas individual cards will have their own credit limits.

Please note:

The full details of transactions may not be displayed here as the transactions are done on separate commercial cards linked to this account

For information about transaction details, please refer to your paper based or online billing account statement and cardholder activity report

You may also check the individual commercial cards for transactions processed under each card.

Step 3 - View previous statement period

The following information will be displayed for a previous statement period:

  • Account: credit card/account name and number
  • Date: statement date
  • For each transaction:
  • Processed: the date the transaction was processed by ANZ

  • Merchant Description: for some transactions, an arrow may appear which can be selected to view details of the merchant

Important notes

The closing balance on the current incomplete statement page may be different to the balance on the home page, as the closing balance does not include transactions that have not yet been processed

The opening balance on this page is the same as the closing balance on your last statement

If you have Instalment Plan or Buy Now Pay Later or Promotional Balance Transfer promotions on your account, the Adjusted Closing Balance, which appears on your paper or online statement, is not available on your ANZ Internet Banking card statement page. The Adjusted Closing Balance is calculated as your Closing Balance less the sum of any relevant Promotional Plan balances that relate to an Instalment Plan, a Buy Now Pay Later plan, or a Promotional Balance Transfer Plan.

This is the amount that you are required to pay to take advantage of your interest free period.

Please refer to your most recent paper statement.

For information about transaction details on your commercial card account, please refer to your paper or online billing account statement and cardholder activity report

Your ANZ Internet Banking card transaction details do not constitute the card statement we are required to issue you in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to your card account

Please refer to your card statement for the interest rate(s) applicable to your card.
