How do I create a data sharing arrangement ?

Nominated Representatives can create a data sharing arrangement on behalf of the business.

Important: To start sharing data, you must initiate the process from the website or app of the Accredited Data Recipient you want to access your data.

  1. Head to your chosen Accredited Data Recipient and start the process of creating a data sharing arrangement.
  2. Once you are redirected back to ANZ, complete the authentication process.
  3. Select accounts in the  ‘Select accounts’ screen and click ‘Continue’ to be taken to the ‘Review and confirm’ page.
  4. On the ‘Review and confirm’ page you can see all the details and what types of data will be shared for the data sharing arrangement. Click the ‘Confirm data sharing’ button at the bottom of the page if you wish to complete the setup.
  5. Once you have confirmed data sharing, ANZ will then securely transfer you back to the Accredited Data Recipient. Your ANZ accounts should now be available to the Accredited Data Recipient.

How do I view data sharing arrangements?

Nominated Representatives can view and revoke existing data sharing arrangements, even if not created by them.

Important: Nominated Representatives can only see accounts they have access to. If a data sharing arrangement has accounts the Nominated Representative does not have access to, the below message will be displayed.

“There may be other accounts in this Data Sharing arrangement. If you are not an authorised signatory you will be unable to view the account(s).”

  1. Access your profile, then select ‘Profile & Security’.
  2. Navigate down to ‘Manage your data’ and then select ‘Data sharing’.
  3. In the ‘Data sharing arrangements’ screen, select the data sharing arrangement you would like to view.

How do I stop a data sharing arrangement?

Nominated Representatives can stop data sharing using the Accredited Data Recipient’s service or ANZ Internet Banking for Business.

Important: If you want your data held by the Accredited Data Recipient to be deleted, you must make that choice before you stop sharing. ANZ encourages you to review your Accredited Data Recipient’s policy on deleting or de-identifying your data. If you are unsure of their policy, or how this may affect you, contact your Accredited Data Recipient before stopping your data sharing arrangement.

Note: Nominated Representatives can stop data sharing even if the data sharing arrangement has accounts the Nominated Representative does not have access to. ANZ encourages you to check with other Nominated Representatives before stopping your data sharing arrangement.
