How do I manage data sharing for a joint account?
For joint accounts, data sharing can be enabled or disabled. While enabled, either account holder can choose to share data from eligible accounts with Open Banking.
If you have a joint home loan, data sharing will be enabled by default in the ANZ Plus app.
To manage data sharing for a joint account in the ANZ Plus app:
- Go to the Profile icon.
- Tap on Data Sharing.
- Tap on Joint Account Permissions.
- Select whether you'd like to enable or disable data sharing for your account/s.
If you are enabling data sharing, a request will be sent to the other account holder to approve. You won't be able to share data until this request is approved. The request will expire after 5 days.
