How do I end a savings goal?

Whether you’ve smashed your goal or you’re looking to change things up, it’s easy to end a goal in the ANZ Plus app. Simply:

  1. Empty the goal by transferring the balance to your Savings Jar or to another goal or account.
  2. Open the goal by tapping on the goal tile.
  3. Tap Edit and then tap End Goal.

Before you end your goal remember to cancel any scheduled or recurring transfers set up using this goal.

Note that transferring the balance to another goal and/or cancelling any scheduled or recurring transfers may impact your ability to qualify for bonus interest. To learn more about how you earn bonus interest on the ANZ Plus Growth Saver account, see the 'Earning Interest'.

Ending a shared goal

If you or your plus one would like to end a shared goal, either one of you can end it by following the steps above.
