What do I do if Ive lost my card while overseas?

If you’ve lost your card while you're overseas, try not to panic. Losing your card is easily managed with the ANZ Plus app.

Firstly, you can place a lock on the lost card to prevent any unauthorised transactions while you look for it. You can do this by going to the Card tab and tapping on Lock.

After you've applied the lock, any subscriptions or services you’ve already set up using your card will continue to work, including Uber or AirBnB.

Replacing a lost card

If your card doesn't turn up, or if it's stolen, please report it right away in the app. To do this:

  1. Go to the Card tab.
  2. Tap on Cancel and Replace Card.
  3. Tap on Lost or Stolen Card and follow the prompts.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to ship a new card internationally, so you’ll need to get it sent to a secure location back in Australia.

If you've lost your Joint ANZ Plus Visa Debit card, remember to swipe across in the Card tab before following the steps above.
