Why do I need to scan my ID?

Scanning your ID

When you download the ANZ Plus app and join you'll need to scan your ID. This is to make sure it’s really you opening the accounts and not someone using your name. 
 
To scan your ID, you’ll need to allow ANZ Plus to access your device camera. Then follow the prompts to take a photo of your ID. 

Tips for easy scanning: 

  • Place your ID on a flat surface with a light background. 
  • Make sure there is enough light. 
  • Place your ID within the photo frame, making sure all four corners of the document are visible.
