PayTo

What is PayTo?

What is PayTo?

PayTo® is a new, digital alternative to direct debits.

With PayTo you can set up once-off, ad hoc or recurring payments with your PayID or eligible BSB and account number, and manage it in the ANZ Plus app.

You'll be able to view and manage your PayTo agreements in-app, so you can stay on top of who you're paying and how much you're paying them.

How it works

Before you set up a once-off, ad hoc or recurring payment, check to see if the merchant or service supports PayTo agreements.

You'll need to provide them your eligible BSB and account number or PayID.

Once they've created the PayTo agreement, they'll send us an authorisation request, which you can accept or decline in the ANZ Plus app.

Once you've authorised a PayTo agreement, you'll be able to pause, resume or cancel it at any time. Just be aware that you may still have obligations to pay the merchant under a separate agreement.

Your PayTo agreements

To view your PayTo agreements in the app:

  1. Go to the Payments tab.
  2. Tap on Scheduled.
  3. Toggle to PayTo.

PayTo limits

PayTo payments have a limit of $25,000 per payment, so you won't be able to use PayTo for any individual transactions larger than this amount.
