About Bruce Rush

Bruce Rush is Chief Executive Officer Suncorp Bank and Managing Director QLD (ANZ). Prior to his appointment in December 2023, Bruce previously led the bank's Home Lending portfolio as Executive General Manager.

Bruce has a broad range of experience in financial services domestically and internationally. His experience covers leadership, innovation, strategy, business planning and delivery and profit outcomes. He has looked after product development and management across savings, cards, transaction accounts, mortgages and personal lending products.

Bruce’s early career was in London in the lead up to and during the Global Financial Crisis. During that time, Bruce played an active role in acquisitions, as well as supporting his senior leadership team in understanding the competitive dynamics in the market.
