About Adam Boyton
Adam leads the Australian Economics team in providing macroeconomic analysis and insights on the Australian economy. Adam was previously the National Skills Commissioner, leading an organisation of around 150 people that provided analysis and advice on labour markets, skills needs and vocational education and training to the Australian Government. Prior to taking that role he was the Chief Economist at the Business Council of Australia. Adam has also worked at Deutsche Bank, where he held the positions of Head of Fixed Income Research and Chief Economist – Australia. He started his career in the Australian Treasury and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Adam has also held board positions on the NSW Rural Assistance Authority, the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust, the NSW Rice Marketing Board and the NSW Skills Board.
