Global growth is performing well as the closing months of 2017 approach. Growth is above trend, but further acceleration is in doubt and China’s manufacturing sector is likely to continue to slow.
Reflation is still in question with continued low wage growth and inflation. We favour technology as an explanation.
Commodity prices are likely to see further gains, but with supply-side improvements also contributing. Currency outcomes are almost entirely reliant on the global inflation pulse.
