Philippa Campbell and Murray Woo appointed to ANZ Papua New Guinea Board

ANZ Papua New Guinea Banking Group today announced Philippa Campbell and Murray Woo OBE have been appointed to the ANZ Papua New Guinea Board, effective Wednesday 9 September, 2026.

Ms Campbell is currently Managing Director, Institutional Australia & Papua New Guinea, where she leads ANZ's Institutional business across both markets.

Since joining ANZ in 2006, she has held a range of leadership roles across foreign exchange, risk management, relationship management, trade finance and transaction banking.  Her experience spans Australia and Papua New Guinea, where she has led teams across a range of banking and customer-facing businesses.

Mr Woo is a Papua New Guinean business and governance leader with more than 30 years' experience across manufacturing, financial services and aviation. He currently serves as Chairman of the Manufacturers Council of Papua New Guinea and President of the Employers Federation of Papua New Guinea, and has held a number of board and committee leadership roles across the local private and public sectors.

Commenting on the appointments, ANZ Papua New Guinea Country Head Andrew Betteridge said: "Philippa and Murray bring complementary skills and experience to the ANZ Papua New Guinea Board.

"Philippa brings almost two decades of experience across ANZ's Institutional business, together with a deep understanding of our customers and operations across Australia and Papua New Guinea. Murray brings extensive governance experience and a long-standing connection to the local business community.

"Papua New Guinea continues to present significant opportunities for our Institutional customers across a range of sectors. Philippa and Murray's experience will strengthen the Board as we continue to support customers and invest in our long-term presence in the local market."
