ANZ launches Bank@Post, expanding access to essential banking services

ANZ today announced the launch of its new Bank@Post service with Australia Post, providing ANZ customers access to banking services at over 3,300 participating Post Offices nationwide.

From today, the service provides ANZ customers a new way to access their banking, including through increased face-to-face banking services in regional and remote areas.

Managing Director of Customer Proposition, Katherine Bray said: “We’re pleased to launch our new Bank@Post arrangement today, giving our customers more choice about where and when they complete their banking.

“Bank@Post services will give our customers access to banking services in more locations and with greater flexibility through Australia Post’s extensive network, including many that are open on Saturdays.

“This new service will help our customers to manage their finances with confidence and maintain control over everyday banking needs – like deposits and withdrawals – throughout Australia,” Mrs Bray concluded.

Today’s announcement builds on ANZ’s existing physical footprint, complementing our branch network, more than 850 ATMs and more than 1750 Armaguard atmx points around the country.

ANZ retail and business customers with Visa Debit cards can complete the following throughout Australia Post’s extensive network:

• Deposit cash (up to $8,000 per transaction)
• Withdraw money (up to $2,000 per transaction, subject to daily withdrawal limits)
• Check account balances

Customers will need to bring their ANZ Access Visa Debit, ANZ Plus Visa Debit or ANZ Business Visa Debit card to a participating Post Office and input their PIN to complete their transactions.

Suncorp Bank customers can continue to use Bank@Post services as part of Suncorp Bank’s existing agreement.
