Changes to ANZ fees and charges
We’re making changes to some of our fees and charges. These changes will come into effect from 1 December 2023.
The main reason behind those changes is to simplify the way our fees work, or to reduce or remove them entirely.
We have summarised the changes in detail below.
Changes to customer banking services fees and charges
Fees we’re introducing
We are introducing this fee to better reflect the costs to us of providing the service.
Fees we’re changing
We are making changes to these fees and charges.
Fees we’re removing
We have removed the following fees and charges.
- Diskpay – Establishment fee and Diskpay reject fee
- Rural Everyday Account – Lost/Replacement passbook fee
- Gang payment fee
- Access Card/International Access Card – ATM Statement request, IAC annual fee, Overseas balance request and Overseas encashment fee*
- Pin replacement fee
- Bank Cheques – Dishonoured Cheque Fees Outward Dishonour
- Payment from Lists – Manual transfer to other bank fee
- Payment from Lists – Over the counter salary credit payment fee
- Payment from Lists – Wage/Salary & Creditor Payment fee
- Transfers – Manual transfers to other banks
- Vouchers – Surrender of paid cheque
- Business Electronic Channels – Payroll fee (Within ANZ and To other banks)
* The ATM interchange withdrawal fee and ATM interchange balance enquiry fee are also replaced with the current fees each bank charges.
