If you're the account holder you can request a decrease or reduction of your credit card limit in the following ways:
- Calling us on 1300 660 841 (or +613 8699 6997 from overseas)
- Logging on to Internet Banking and selecting:
- Credit Card Account
- Decrease your credit card limit
- Submit credit limit reduction request
- Using the form below.
We may call you back and ask some security and authentication questions (including confirmation of the account number you wish to request a reduction/decrease on) before reducing your credit limit.
If you have requested a new credit limit that is lower than the current balance of your account, we will also discuss the next steps for your request to be actioned.
Please note that when selecting your preferred new credit card limit, it can be equal to but must not be less than the minimum credit limit for your Aussie credit card.

In certain circumstances, a person authorised to act on behalf of the account holder may decrease the credit limit of an account holder's credit card in the ways above.
