Register for international services

ANZ Internet Banking offers convenient international services that allow you to transfer funds overseas and purchase foreign currency cash. You can also view foreign exchange rates.

In order to use these international services you must first register.

How do I register for international services?

Registering for International Services is easy.

  • Go to the "Payments" menu.
  • Select "International services" and follow the steps below.

Before registering for international services

  • Your Pay Anyone daily limit will apply to international services.
  • You can set up or amend your Pay Anyone daily limit by selecting the appropriate limit from the options displayed during international services registration.

Step 1 - Read and accept the terms and conditions

  • Select the checkbox to acknowledge that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions.

Step 2 - Select the "Apply" button

  • After you click the "Apply" button, a new screen will display confirming international services has been activated.

  • Transfer funds overseas: transfer funds to overseas accounts in any of the available currencies
  • Order foreign currency cash: choose from the available currencies

  • International payee list: manage your international payees
  • Manage your access to international services: change your daily limit or remove your access.

Your daily Pay Anyone limit will apply for both Pay Anyone and international transactions.

Once you apply for International Services, it will be activated immediately.

The cost for international services will vary depending on the type of service you are requesting as follows:

This depends on the type of international service you have requested, outlined as follows:

  • International money transfers (transfer funds overseas): are processed as immediate payments and your account is debited immediately. It may however, take 24-48 business hours to be processed depending on when the transfer was requested. Transfers submitted before 4.30pm Melbourne time on a bank business day will be processed on the same day but if submitted after 4.30pm Melbourne time or on weekends or public holidays, it will be processed on the next bank business day. The time that it takes for the beneficiary's account to be credited will depend on the policy and systems of the beneficiary's bank. In the event that a correspondent or recipient bank is unable to process your payment, they will either request additional information or return the payment to ANZ. Where additional information is requested, ANZ will attempt to contact you via SecureMail to obtain the required information. Please monitor your SecureMail.
  • Foreign currency cash: will take a minimum of 4 bank business days to be processed. You may specify a different day but it needs to be at least four bank business days in advance. These need to be collected from your nominated ANZ branch.

Yes. To cancel the international access follow the steps below:

  • Go to the"Payments" menu
  • Select "International Services"
  • Select "Remove Access to International Services".

Your international services access will be removed immediately but your Pay Anyone Access will remain the same.
