How can I get withholding tax back?

One of our Coaches can arrange a refund of your withholding tax for the current financial year if you choose to provide us with your Tax File Number (TFN).

You don't have to give us your TFN or TFN exemption, but if you don't, we may need to deduct withholding tax from any interest you earn.

Follow these steps to add your TFN:

  1. Open your ANZ Plus app.
  2. Go to the Profile icon.
  3. Tap on Tax File Number.
  4. Follow the prompts in-app.

Then, simply message a Coach to let them know that you'd like to request a refund for the current financial year.
