How do I block gambling transactions?
You can block gambling transactions on your ANZ Plus Visa Debit card:
- Go to the Card tab in the ANZ Plus app
- Tap on Controls
- Tap on Gambling Block and follow the prompts
Your gambling block may take up to 15 minutes to take effect, but then you won’t be able to use your card or digital wallet for any transactions that we categorise as gambling, including:
- Online betting
- Lotto tickets
- Bookies
- Casino withdrawals
Important info: We rely on information provided by third parties to identify gambling transactions. As a result, it’s possible some gambling transactions may not be blocked and some non-gambling transactions may be blocked.
