An Electronic Transaction (including any applicable ATM fees) made in a currency that is not a Stored Value Currency will be converted to AUD by Visa in accordance with its rules using the wholesale market rate selected by Visa from a range of wholesale rates one day before Visa processes the Electronic Transaction. If there are insufficient funds in the AUD Stored Value then the remaining balance of the Electronic Transaction will be paid by debiting the Stored Value from the other Stored Value Currency or Stored Value Currencies according to the Stored Value Currency Order. Therefore you may be subject to a number of exchange rate conversions (depending on how many Stored Value Currencies are required to have their Value transferred to process the Transaction). The conversion rate used will be that which is notified on ANZ’s website at anz.com as being the rate at which ANZ buys Travel Cards in the relevant Stored Value Currency.
