You will need to pay GST on the initial vehicle purchase, if the supplier is registered for GST. ANZ may, at our discretion, finance the GST component on your purchase.
What do I have to do if I change my car registration or other vehicle details?
Simple. If there is a change to the information you have previously provided to ANZ about your car (in particular, a change to the registration number or VIN), you should notify ANZ as soon as possible. If you don't, requests for payout letters or similar documentation could be delayed, or worse, sent with incorrect vehicle details. This can cause confusion or problems for customers who haven't notified us of changes to their vehicle details.
For example, if you've forgotten to notify us of a change in registration or the VIN of a replacement engine, this could delay the settlement and transfer of your vehicle on completion of your contract.

How do I have ANZ’s registration against my car removed from the PPSR?
If you finance a vehicle using an ANZ Secured Car Loan, ANZ will register its interest in your vehicle on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR). When you payout your loan contract, ANZ will cease to hold an interest in your vehicle upon receipt of cleared funds. ANZ will then remove its registration from the PPSR (this may take a few days to process). If you believe ANZ incorrectly holds a registration on the PPSR over your vehicle, please call us on 13 23 73 to discuss.
