ANZ opens branch in Seymour (PDF 20kB)

ANZ today announced it will open a new branch in Seymour, Victoria in response to the strong population growth and increased business activity in the local and surrounding areas. 

Central Victoria District Manager, Carl Bird, said: “Seymour has become a central hub for many of the communities within central Victoria so it made sense for us to expand our branch presence in the region.”

“Seymour has strong growth prospects given its close proximity to Melbourne while also benefiting from the strong demand both nationally and internationally for agricultural commodities,” said Mr Bird. 

ANZ Seymour will offer a complete range of financial services, including home and investment lending, insurance and superannuation. Customers will also have access to ANZ’s small business and retirement bankers, as well as meet with commercial and agribusiness banking specialists by appointment.

The branch will be located on Shop 4 Seymour Central Shopping Centre, 18 - 24 Tallarook Street, next to Coles Supermarket and is expected to open mid-December.

The branch is currently recruiting staff to fulfill the role of branch manager, as well as senior and personal bankers. Branch opening hours will be from 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9:30 am to 5:00pm Fridays.
