ANZ Fiji in the community

At ANZ we are proud to support Fijians and the things that are important to them. We support our communities in a variety of ways across Fiji, including sponsorship, volunteering efforts, and through the ANZ Staff Foundation.

Fiji rugby

ANZ Fiji is a supporter of rugby in Fiji. We are the:

  • Official Bank and Sponsor of the Fijian Drua (Super Rugby Pacific); and
  • Official Sponsor of the ANZ Marama Championship, Fiji's national Women’s rugby competition.

It is not just our professional rugby players we support, we're passionate in our support of those who live and breathe rugby in Fiji, from elite to grassroots.

ANZ Staff Foundation

The ANZ Staff Foundation has been giving ANZ Fijian staff the opportunity to give back to their community since 2006. Operating as a charitable trust, it allows staff to donate as frequently as they like through pay-roll deductions, and all donations will be matched dollar for dollar by ANZ up to $10,000.00 per year.

The Foundation also provides staff with the chance to donate their time, helping to make funded projects come to life through volunteer work. This volunteer work has been embedded in our culture, allowing staff to donate one full day of their time each year to a community organisation or charity of their choice.

With a focus on helping the environment, local initiatives, and giving people and the communities the ability to thrive independently, we’re incredibly proud to be supporting a wide range of organisations and people across Fiji.

Over the past 10 years this focus has allowed us to donate over $240,000.00, 5,000 volunteer hours, and help many charities and projects, including CWM Children’s Ward, ANZ Ward, CWM Oncology Ward, Savusavu Children’s Hospital, WWF Sustainable Coir Log projects, WWF Natutu & Nailaga Rehabilitation, Fiji HART and Cyclone and Tsunami Relief Outreach.

The Foundation welcomes community grant requests and completes a quarterly funding review cycle to ensure that projects that best align to its charitable objectives are considered.
