Setting up ANZ BladePayTM

Before you set up your ANZ BladePay™ device, make sure it’s charged, grab your welcome email and have both your WiFi details and mobile phone handy. If you’re working with a developer you might also need to request an app suite code.

Getting started

 

Tap Let's get started.

Amend the time and date if they are wrong and tap Next.

Now select a WiFi or Hidden Network to link your device and tap Next.

 

The ANZ FastPay® Next Generation app – which you use to accept payments – and Contactless Card Reader at the top of the device will now start up.

Find your Merchant ID and username from the welcome email, enter both and tap Log In.

You’ll then receive a one-time passcode by SMS to the number provided when you applied for the ANZ BladePay™. At the next screen, enter it and tap Log In.

 

When instructions for creating a PIN appear, enter a 4-digit number once and then twice to confirm.

After that, re-enter the same PIN.

 

Link to your accounts

There are two options from here:

  • If your developer has provided you with an App Suite code tap Link App Suite.
  • If you can already see the App Suite you want, select it and then go to Step 6.

Note: If you can’t see the App Suite you want and you don’t have a developer code, you can set up and manage your App Suite via the ANZ FastPay® App Catalogue – fastpayportal.anz.com

 

 

Finally, enter both the App Suite code and App Suite name.

Note: The name you choose will appear as a shortcut in the App Suite list. When you set up subsequent devices (using the same Merchant ID) simply select your App Suite name to skip this step.

 

 

When you see this screen you know your apps are installed. Talk to your developer on the best way to start using the app.

Viewing transactions online

 If you're logging into the ANZ FastPay® Portal for the first time, please use the one-time password sent to the number used to set up your ANZ Merchant facililty. After this, you'll be prompted to set up a new password for future use.

 

1. Visit fastpayportal.anz.com

2. Enter your Merchant ID

3. Enter your username followed by your password

  • Use of ANZ FastPay® Next Generation and ANZ BladePay™ requires a cellular or wireless internet connection. Temporary service interruptions may occur. 

  • ANZ BladePay™ is preloaded with the ANZ FastPay® Next Generation app. All other apps available in the ANZ FastPay® App Catalogue are developed by third parties (unless otherwise noted in the ANZ FastPay® App Catalogue). To the extent permitted by law, ANZ is not liable for any of these third party apps.

  • The ANZ BladePay™ battery lasts for approximately 8 hours on a full charge, depending on active use. 

  • ANZ FastPay® Next Generation processes Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards and EFTPOS cards as well as American Express credit cards. To accept American Express Cards, you will need to enter into a Merchant Agreement directly with American Express separately, and then advise ANZ of your American Express ID. 

  • EFTPOS contactless coming soon.

  • Downloading or using apps developed for ANZ BladePay™ by your POS vendor may attract fees and charges. Please contact your POS vendor for information on these.

  • Whether your business will enjoy the benefits described here will depend on your business and whether your POS vendor has built an app for ANZ BladePay™ with the appropriate functionality. Speak to your POS vendor about whether their app is right for your business.
