Key considerations

Your payment basics

When thinking about making payments, there are a number of things to consider, such as: how often you need to make payments; how big are your individual payments; and how much are you likely to pay on a given day? Are you paying in foreign currency? These are just some of the important considerations when developing your payment processes.

Create efficiency

Making and managing payments can take up a lot of time. You might save time by integrating your payment solution with your accounting software. If you don't have an accounting software package, consider investing in one.

Control and delegation

You could save time by delegating payment creation. Some of our online banking options allow you to set up administrators who can create payments on your behalf, while the final approval is always under your control.
