Effective 1 January 2020, the following ANZ International Rates apply for all relevant Transactions (as specified below) processed through your nominated merchant facility.
For Transactions completed on international Visa and international MasterCard cards including Transactions processed using Customer Preferred Currency (‘CPC’), ANZ will apply the relevant international interchange rates outlined below (‘International Rates’) in place of actual interchange costs incurred by ANZ for processing these transactions. More details about CPCs generally can be found in relevant operating guides. These International Rates are set by ANZ.
For international Transactions excluding those processed using CPC, the relevant International Rates noted below (i.e. either Visa International or MasterCard International) will apply.
For international Transactions processed using CPC , the relevant International Rates noted below (i.e. either CPC Visa or CPC MasterCard) will apply. CPC transactions can only be processed by merchants in eligible industries who are on eligible ANZ merchant products and where CPC functionality has been activated by ANZ.
The relevant International Rate will appear as ‘Interchange’ on your statement.
