Any insurable event occurring on or after 11 April 2018 will be handled by Allianz while any insurable event prior to this date will be handled by QBE. This is subject to you satisfying the eligibility criteria for cover under the relevant insurance policy.
If you have made a claim with QBE prior to 11 April 2018, QBE will continue to address your existing claim. Please refer to correspondence received from QBE, which will contain the contact details of your QBE case manager.
No, if you have paid the administration fee for confirmation from QBE that your pre-existing medical condition is covered for the duration of your trip, Allianz will also cover your pre-existing medical condition subject to the terms and conditions of the Master Policies.
As was previously the case, you will need to let the insurer (Allianz) know if any changes to the following as these may affect your cover or require you to undergo an assessment:
new condition(s) or changes in the circumstances of your existing condition(s).
