Wins 2009/10 CANSTAR CANNEX Award
ANZ has been awarded the CANSTAR CANNEX national award for Outstanding Value in Home Insurance, as well as the State Award for Home Insurance in Queensland.
The awards are part of the second annual home and contents star ratings report.
The ‘Cannex research compares 32 insurers, 54 policies and over 15,000 individual quotes across the six Australian states.
“We looked at building-only insurance, contents insurance, plus the home and contents package and named two companies each as offering outstanding value,” said Steve Mickenbecker, CANNEX CANSTAR Head of Research.
For home or building-only insurance, ANZ took the top national honours.
“This award is acknowledgement of the great product we offer with full buildings replacement cover,” says Rick Howe, General Manager Insurance for ANZ.
“It’s great to have independent researchers confirm that our product is outstanding compared to other insurance offered in Australia. So customers taking out buildings cover with ANZ will not be left under-insured.”
With full buildings replacement cover, ANZ provides full replacement of an insured home if it is destroyed in an insurable event, regardless of cost. So even if prices go up and it costs more to rebuild than the sum insured, we will still pick up the bill.
CANSTAR CANNEX has recognised ANZ’s quality Home Insurance (buildings cover) with an Outstanding Value Australia award, for 2009/10.
