Tania is Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO.

The Office of the CEO is responsible for Mr Smith's office and oversight of group initiatives, operations and issues. This includes ANZ Board meetings, Management Board meetings, senior management forums and review processes across the group.

Tania joined ANZ in 2004 and has held a number of roles within ANZ's business banking, small business banking and group performance management areas.

Immediately prior to her current role, she held the position of District Executive for Inner Sydney with Business Banking where she led a team of relationship managers to manage and grow a large customer portfolio.

Before joining ANZ, Tania worked with Accenture and in the resources sector with Aurora Gold and Santos.

She is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
