Access to additional funds

ANZ offers a number of options for accessing your additional payments as well as borrowing more money on an existing loan or taking out a new one.

ANZ Supplementary Loan

The ANZ Supplementary Loan is designed to enable you to access the equity you have built up in your home or residential investment property to finance anything you like. The purpose of the loan can range from consolidating existing personal borrowing to financing new borrowing for purchasing shares, home decorating, a new car ... anything you desire. This loan is secured by a first registered mortgage over your property.

ANZ Redraw

ANZ Redraw gives you easy access to additional payments you have made to your loan without going through a complete application process. To access these funds, you must be eligible for ANZ Redraw, have an eligible loan product and meet the terms and conditions of ANZ Redraw. Once eligible for an ANZ Redraw, if you are registered for ANZ Internet Banking, you can perform the following functions online:

  • view your ANZ Redraw amount in advance
  • request ANZ Redraw withdrawals.

Once eligible for ANZ Redraw, if you are registered for ANZ Phone Banking you can:

  • find out your ANZ Redraw balance
  • process Redraw withdrawals

If your latest Letter of Offer was issued prior to 9 February 2008, you must register for Redraw by completing a Redraw Registration / Amendment Authority Form (PDF, 36kb).

If you can not download this form you can request it from:

  • your local ANZ branch; or
  • the ANZ Redraw team on 1800 077 070.

The Redraw Registration Form must be signed by all parties to the loan and returned to your branch for verification.

Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for ANZ Redraw:

  • you must have an eligible loan product drawn or renewed since November 1997 (see list above)
  • you must have made additional repayments since 19 April 2000
  • your loan must not currently be in a fixed rate period
  • your loan must not currently be in a construction or progressive draw period.

Loans drawn prior to November 1997 may be renewed with a new loan contract to include a Redraw facility. Fixed rate loans become eligible for Redraw when they reach their variable rate period. Additional payments made to fixed rate loans during the fixed rate period will not be available to be redrawn.

The minimum amount of any ANZ Redraw is $2,000 for eligible Home Loan and Residential Investment Loans and $500 for eligible Personal Loans.

ANZ Assured

ANZ Assured provides you quick access to a small amount of credit when you need it. It is a credit facility of either $500 or $1,000 that can be attached to a wide range of transaction accounts to guard against unexpected cash shortfalls.

Many existing ANZ Home or Residential Investment Loan customers are eligible for fee waivers on an ANZ Assured facility.
